Walmart Savings CatcherHave you heard about the Wal-Mart Savings Catcher yet? It recently launched nationwide after successful beta testing and I am rather impressed with the service so far. To begin you just head on over to the Wal-Mart Savings Catcher site to create an account. I do recommend creating an account online or logging into you established Wal-Mart account via a browser to set up your savings catcher. From there you can download and up the app for easier uploads but using the app for initial setup can create issues later as I learned from experience.

After you’ve created an account, the next step is to enter in your recent receipts and wait for them to match up your items to the ads from other retailers. They say this can take 2-3 days but once it’s available on your account, the savings can be transferred to an e-gift card. How easy?!

I simply had to try Wal-Mart Savings Catcher out as soon as I heard about the program. As much as I’d love to shop elsewhere, the truth in our lives right now is that easier is better. The less stops I make and the more productive each can be, the more manageable our little world is. Especially when Daddy is gone. I uploaded my very first receipt and managed to save $1.56! Now, imagine if I base my menu and grocery list on what everyone has for sale and shop at Wal-Mart without having to price match in store? I may be a little too excited about the possibilities here. Get your results in but they missed an item? No worries! They have a section to submit any price matches they didn’t catch. Does that work quickly? I can’t say for sure. Is it worth a shot? Definitely! Now, go get your cash back!
