Two Little Hands Productions was founded by a family with a dream of bringing learning to life while teaching acceptance and having fun. Their vision was of a world in which all children can openly express themselves while feeling valued and understood. So far, their goal has been a complete success, and well over 10 years later they are still wowing their audiences with captivating videos teaching about the world through song, dance, and sign language.

In May 2002, Rachel Coleman and her sister Emilie created the first Signing Time volume which was instrumental in helping their loved ones learn to communicate with Rachel’s daughter, Leah. The videos featured Rachel, her then 3-year-old nephew Alex, and Leah who was 4 years old. Rachel and her dad, Lex, are responsible for writing all the original songs while her little brother produces them. Also drafted into creative duty is Rachel’s husband Aaron who, along with her brother, films and edits the videos. Now, almost all of Rachel’s eight siblings and their children have been involved in the shows!
Two Little Hands Productions prides itself on being too educational for television as they have been turned down by some bigger studios. They love that their media (and your child’s limited screen time) can be meaningful instead of mindless. Their programs teach essential academic concepts, instill universal human values, and build healthy self-esteem in your children all while they are entertained by the wonderful cast and concepts. You can watch your child light up as they follow along with any of the four series including:
- Baby Signing Time for ages 0-3
- Potty Time for ages 2-4
- Signing Time for ages 3-8 (now including Signing Time Sentences!)
- Rachel & The TreeSchoolers for ages 3-8
Another accomplishment that Two Little Hands Productions has every right to be proud of is how strong their following is and how dedicated their backers are. From the beginning, Two Little Hands has been funded and supported via word-of-mouth recommendations. Their reputation was the fuel for the fire that excelled them to the fore-front of the sing language educational field. One of their newest series, Rachel & The TreeSchoolers, and their new Signing Time Sentences volumes were all funded via Kickstarter. They would not be where they are today without their fan base which is still rapidly growing and as strong as ever.
