When I first woke up this morning, I had some sore neck, shoulder, and back muscles. I was sure it had to be the way I slept so I grabbed the girls a quick breakfast and hopped in the shower. By the time I got out, a headache had formed, but I chalked that up to the muscle tension and got dressed anyway. Fast forward a little bit to getting the girls dressed and I had a full blow migraine making me sick to my stomach for the next two hours as I struggled to keep enough Excedrin Migraine down to ease the nausea.

My girls totally came to the rescue. The oldest helped her sisters finish getting dressed, the middle brought me her pillow as I lay virtually incapacitated on the couch, and the youngest cuddled me the whole time through. They all took turns kissing my cheeks, rubbing my arms, and whispering “I love you”. See, even our wild child can be sweet at times! *sigh* Oh, mothering girls, how I love thee. 🙂
Once I could keep a full dose of medicine down, I was back to functional within 30 minutes. Now that is some seriously good stuff! Of course, being Mom, I can’t just take it easy for the rest of the day. We’re off to get groceries, pickup lunch, and start the freezer meal prep process. I definitely won’t forget my afternoon dose in the process though. How have people ever survived without this stuff?
*While writing this post just now, I noticed that Target is offering a $5 Target gift card if you purchase 2 select Excedrin products at the same time. Consider it added to my list for sure!*
