About Us

March 9, 2014

My days may seem a bit crazy but I simply could not imagine anything better. I am rocking my mid-20s by keeping busy with our beautiful Princesses (currently 3 1/2, 15 months, and um…still baking) while also supporting our very own High-line Hero! I am branching into the at-home work industry as well as independent sales and will be finishing my Bachelor’s later this year.About Us: Our Family

As you may have already learned, my husband is an Apprentice Transmission Power Lineman. This means he spends months at a time traveling nationwide for work with his crew. After three years of travel and with soon to be three littles at home, the lifestyle was getting quite rough. How are we fixing this? Well, by joining him on the road of course! This blog will follow us on our journey as we purchase a 5th wheel (prayers, please!!) and then as we start our life as a tramping family. Expect anything from hotel recipes or homeschooling ideas to product reviews, mommy moments, and travel tips. Ready to get started? I know I am!!

UPDATE June 26, 2015

My oh my how time flies! If you’re just joining in on our journey then you’re probably wanting to know more about who we are and where we are now.

Well, the first major difference is that we’re a full family of five now! Our Miss Madelyn arrived on June 2, 2014 and made quite the entrance into our world. There were a lot of concerns during my pregnancy but by her 2 month appointment we knew God had been working miracles for our family.

Our three princesses are currently 5, 2.5, and 1. Our oldest starts Kindergarten on July 1st and we are all a little nervous but excited at the same time. I graduated last September and now I’m legally teaching homeschool. Thank goodness I won’t be doing both at the same time! I do have a lot to keep busy with though. One of my best friends and I recently bought out an online baby store. I’ll be sharing a post about that soon so be on the lookout for it.

About Us: Our Girls July 2015

Oh, have I mentioned yet that we are officially on the road full-time? And in our own 5th wheel? Yaya! I picked my husband up from Enterprise on August 20th, 2014 and by August 25th we had signed the paperwork to list our house, stored almost everything we own, and were on our way to Florida. It was insane! Looking back, those memories really are some of my favorites. Our first few months after leaving home full-time were scary but also so very rewarding!

Well, that’s about all I can think of for now. Happy reading and safe travels!

    • I feel really lucky to be doing this while the girls are very young. I think it’d be a lot harder if they were all in classes! For now, we’ll only have one preschooler. Hopefully we can learn as we go and develop a good system. 🙂
