Homeschooling life skills? Is that something we even really need to look into? Let’s all take a little flashback to that 9th grade home economics class we all loved. As humorous as those memories may be, it gave us the opportunity to fail at the basics, learn from our mistakes, and move on with the confidence to try again for better futures. The one life skill they severely missed out on with our class was the financials though. This is why our kids will be starting Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace Junior as they become old enough to manage their own money. We are currently following his guide to being debt free and the insights we have learned are truly life changing!
These days, there is a real lack of practical training in schools and even in some homes.
