Happy December 1st to all of y’all! I hope you had a fabulous Thanksgiving with friends or family and rocked Black Friday however you chose. We had a feast Thursday and then chased it with some shopping Friday morning. I must say that Black Friday shopping in Rosenberg, TX is nowhere near as stressful or chaotic as in northwest Arkansas. The people were friendly and the crowds weren’t dauntingly large. I loved it!

Now, Christmas time is just around the corner! The Christmas season is honestly one of my favorite times of year. I’m not huge on the gifts (and cold weather makes me want to cry) but the memories we can make during the holidays are just so magical! This year, I have put together a 10 item bucket list different than the traditional “visit Santa and see lights” list. We will still do those things…I mean, that’s why they are a tradition, but the ideas here are meant to spark some creativity and loving connections. I am so excited to get started! Make sure to follow us on Instagram to see first hand as we share these experiences. They are in no particular order but I would love to see photos as your family joins in on the fun!

1. Family Handprint Christmas Tree– This is our first year in the 5th wheel and I am a little bummed about not having room for a tree. We just move way too often to have one we need to store. I know it would end up broken or we would end up frustrated. This is a perfect solution!

2. Holiday Foam Creation- We haven’t decided yet what this will be but we know we will complete one. Last year, I picked up a foam train from Wal-Mart and Aryanna loved it so much I knew it would become a family tradition. They have a variety to choose from and they are super simple to complete.

3. Gingerbread House– Because, why not?!

4. Cookie Nativity Set– I have been wanting to do this for a couple of years now. I finally feel like Aryanna is old enough to understand the story of Christ’s birth a little more. What perfect way to share the story than by building a nativity together and talking about the characters?! I plan to use this cookie cutter set from Amazon to make sugar cookies for the activity.
